Some information about the species are also added to each image in the Species identification plates (ID-plates).
In the ID-plate with QR codes, students can scan the codes with their cell phones and they will be connected to a web site where they can find more information about the organism on the image.
The plates can be downloaded and laminated so they can also be used in the field and in the lab.
